Concéntrico is the International Festival of Architecture and Design of Logroño. The Festival invites you to a tour around the city through installations, meetings, and exhibitions that dialogue around public space and the urban environment, with a focus on the sustainability of materials and processes.
Being responsible for the visual identity of the festival since its first edition, we have configured a versatile system, organized from a series of fixed elements (typography and a restricted color palette) around which the variables that define each edition pivot.

The ever-present Pantone Reflex Blue creates links with architecture, old blueprints, or the chalk blue used in construction. As for text composition, Helvetica typography is used exclusively, to arrange and rank the information.
In this seventh edition, we adopt gradients as the main feature of the Festival identity. It is a type of transition that permits showing the integration of the different installations in the city environment, defining new spaces by overlapping with the pre-existing ones.

We developed the brand and identity system for Lovisual from its very conception in 2016. A branding exercise in which the system adapts to the particularities of each edition, always keeping typography as the protagonist.
Lovisual is an annual cultural event that aims to boost trade and gastronomic spaces through design, culture and art in La Rioja.
In the 2021 edition, the common theme has been the work of Carlos J. Cenamor (DelAmorYLaBelleza). His intervention with ceramic moulds, “From the possible to the desirable”, reflects on the natural and urban ecosystem of La Rioja: the styles, materials, construction details and the vegetal world that inhabits them.

A newspaper is the format chosen to display not only all the information about the participating activities and spaces, but also the images of the moulds themselves. On this occasion, the newspaper is transformed into the artist's own field notebook, with handwritten annotations, where photographs and texts are superimposed, contributing to the idea of a readymade. In this way, it is integrated into the discourse of the event, becoming an intervention by itself.
The layout features the Scilla typography, with pronounced serifs and vegetable reminiscences, used in an almost illustrative way, reaching to compose entire pages. Applied to large headlines, it ranks the information, standing out above the photographic chaos.

In 2021, the College of Architects of La Rioja (COAR) proposed a graphic renewal of its periodic publication, which aims to be a window to debate and conversation about architecture through a new format, header and content.
To capture this new stage of the magazine, we suggested an editorial proposal that allows for the coexistence of historical issues with other current ones.

The design of the magazine, through a game of opposite fonts, places classic elements in contemporary compositions, creating rhythms that add tradition and modernity in a harmonic way. The configuration of columns allows us to glimpse an architectural grid, which softens its hieratic nature with the display of whites and images.
The configuration of the covers is articulated around an annual cycle of four numbers, four fragments, which offer a global vision of what happened during that year by joining all the pieces together.

Arquia/Próxima Forum is a biennial event organized by the Arquia Foundation. It is a meeting point to talk about architecture, debate and reward the work of new generations of architects.
The 2018 edition represented a small revolution in the organization of the forum and also in the conception of its graphic universe, adopting a more contemporary identity, articulated around the idea of a new avant-garde generation.

Identity System
The avant-garde concept for graphics is expressed through the use of juxtaposed compositions, thanks to a multitude of golden arrows that are interspersed with the texts and labels.
These upward arrows represent vanguard and advancement of an emerging new generation. The gold color and the variety of shapes meanwhile represent the prizes themselves and the different categories.
The bold typographic palette is built around two high-contrast typefaces: Akzidenz Grotesk (San Serif Grotesk) and Romana (Humanist Serif), with which a flexible disruptive layout is created with different alignments and size changes.
